Packers Week #6

A case of deja 'vu... The Packers lost tp the Miami Dolphins 23-20 in overtime....

Here are my thoughts of the game...

Aaron Rodgers started the game and played brilliantly thought out
Greg Jennings 86 yard TD catch was spectacular!
At that point, it looked as if the Pack should win the game.
Sad to say, The Pack still doesn't have a running game.
Miami routed the Packers secondary.

Packers are now 3-3. I don't know about making the playoffs, yet.

More on the game here.

I was actually happy to see Minnesota beat the Cowboys today. Not that I care one way or the other about the Vikes... I just can't stand the Cowboys. One of the most perpetually over-hyped teams in the NFL.

My Browns lost too, but that was expected. Colt McCoy showed excellent poise and leadership despite the loss and gives me reason for optimism for the Browns future despite today's loss.

Looks as if McCoy might be a great quarterback someday!

I believe he will at least be a consistent and strong QB... a fan favorite like Bernie Kosar used to be. That is-- if the Browns don't try to rush him in that starting role.

Honestly, with the injuries they've dealt with this season I think they should focus the rest of the season on just going out there and having fun. Let McCoy get comfortable, let him have fun getting comfortable. Take the pressure off of him. The Browns are 1-5 the playoffs ain't happening. They might as well have fun the rest of the season and let McCoy find his groove and get comfortable without having to deal with the pressure of making the playoffs. In the long run it would be far better for both him and the team to go that route. It stings giving up on trying to make the playoffs-- but at the same time, with that pressure out of the equation the Browns can really get comfortable with each other.
