Sunset at San Clemete

I posted these pictures some time ago at the JTI. I don't why I didn't post them here. Oh well. I took these pictures during my last trip to California. I really liked how these pictures turned out. I took them with my SonyDSC-H2 12x Cyber-Shot Camera (yeah, it's an expensive toy) Hope you like them!

Those are great shots, Drew. I've been to Cali before but never that far south. My sister and her husband lived in the Palo Alto/Mountain View area for a couple of years back in the late eighties. They actually moved back east (to NY state) about a month before the big quake in '89. I went out to visit them twice when they lived out there. We drove down the PCH about as far as Big Sur and also went as far north as Vallejo. Both trips out there were quite enjoyable. I'd love to go back with my Nikon and get some better photos (especially of Big Sur). I'd also like to explore the Marin County area a bit more. One of my favorite bands (that I didn't get into until AFTER my trips out to California), the Sons of Champlin, was originally from the Marin County area and were regulars at Bill Graham's various SF Bay Area venues.

I of course would also like to go a bit further south to the LA and possibly even San Diego areas.

Perplexo, if you ever visit So. California, you'll be amazed! When I was in LA, I saw all them rock and roll places like the Whiskey, the Rainbow, the Roxy, Capital Records, ect... In San Diego, I visited the zoo and the Hard Rock Cafe there. Spent most of my time in Orange County.
