I Was Wrong

Packers Week #3

I missed this game due to a LONG journey home from California. Wish I would have seen it . The Packers beat the St. Louis Rams 36-17.

Going Home....

Tomorrow morning, I leave sunny California for the cold, harsh reality of Wisconsin... I don't want to go home. I had fun out here. I love it out here. It may be hot, but I don't mind. Just give me a Pepsi in the shade and I'm good as gold. I'll be missing the wonderful scenery, a wonderful family, and most of all, my girlfriend.

Robert Cray

Last night, Barbara and I went the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano to see Robert Cray. If you don't know him, he shared the stage with blues greats like Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan. I tell you, he ROCKED!

Happy Birthday, Barbara!

Today, I'm celebrating my wonderful girlfriend, Barbara's, birthday! She turns__today! Last night we celebrated by watching Robert Cray in San Juan Capistrano. Great show! Today we are going to celebrate with her family and friends. Hope you have a great day, sweetheart!

San Diego Zoo

Yesterday, Barbara and I went to the San Diego Zoo. Had an excellent time! As we walked around the place we saw many cool animals! We saw California condors, a Komodo dragon, a bird show, the usual lions, tigers, and bears. Also we saw PANDAS! They are so cute! Don't cha think?

Afterwards, we ate out at the Hard Rock Cafe in San Diego. That place was so cool! Saw cool guitars on the wall from Jimmy Page, Joe Perry, and Gene Simmons! I love being out here!

Packers Week # 2

I'm in California right now,so I didn't watch this game. It was just as well, the Packers lost to the Cincinnati Bengals 31-24. A major bummer to me. How can anyone lose to the "Bungles"?

Chasing Sunrises

Here I am in California with Barbara. We are having a good time so far. Had an early flight to catch and ended up leaving at sunrise. Here's a little ditty I wrote along the way called "Chasing Sunrises":

Across the broad horizon
A brand new dawn arrives
Light streaks through the clouds
Blinding the world with the sunshine
Flying across the worldly sky
One destination to the next
Trying to catch up to the sun
Flying toward the land of fun

Going To California

Tomorrow morning, I head off to California to be with my girlfriend, Barbara. I will be blogging about my trip there during the week. It's gonna be a lot of fun!

Packers Week # 1

The Green Bay Packers beat their rivals Chicago Bears 21-15 in an interesting game. Most of the action was in the final two minutes of the game. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers tossed a 72 yard bomb to wide receiver Greg Jennings that sealed the Bears fate.

Autumn Arrives Early in Wisconsin

It seems so that Autumn has arrived earlier than usual here in southern Wisconsin. The leaves are starting to turn color already. Pretty soon we'll be having a kaleidoscope of colors! Over the next few weeks, I'll be taking pictures of trees in my area, showing you all the changes as they come. I'm gonna leave you a video of one of my favorite bands, Rush. Here is The Trees.

Band of Brothers

I'm not really into war movies so much, but this miniseries grabbed my attention. So over the Labor Day weekend, I spent much of my time on the couch watching this show. It's addicting. I thought is was well written and it captured my thoughts. Here' a good link about it.
