Packers Week #19 NFC Divisional Game

Holy cow! What a slaughter! The Green Bay Packers beat the Atlanta Falcons 48-21 in this divisional game.

Here are my thoughts of the game...

The Packers are smokin' hot now!
The Packers' defense completely shutdown Atlanta's famous running game.
Aaron Rodgers completed 31 of 36 passes for 366 yards
The Falcons made four turnovers
The only great action from Atlanta was Eric Weems' 102-yard return on an ensuing kickoff.

More on the game here.

The Packers play against the Seattle Seahawks or the Chicago Bears for the NFC Division Title next week.

Yea go ahead and say what you want to about the Bears. But just remember one thing at the end will tell who the better team is. That will be the team that goes to the Superbowl. Remember the bet we have going to and Babe you look real good in blue and orange. The Bears are also real hungry for some deep fried cheese curds! I just can't wait until Sunday to watch the game.

Even though I'm pulling for the Bears, I am a bit worried about them next weekend. They were leading 28-3 at the half and in the 2nd half they nearly allowed Seattle back into the game. I'll take the win but something tells me they got an earful from the coaching staff about playing the WHOLE game, not building up a 4 touchdown cushion and then sleeping in the 2nd half and nearly letting your opponent back in the game. They can get away with that with Seattle, but if they pull that crap with Green Bay, Green Bay WILL win the game and go on to the Super Bowl.
